Margaret Duncombe

Ward 4 Candidate

I made a conscious decision to live, work and retire in Prince Albert. I’m a former Chair of the PA Tourism Committee & founding partner of Northern Spirits.

I have worked at the municipal, regional and provincial levels in sport, culture, recreation & tourism.

I managed a family business in Regina and Paris Jewellers in Prince Albert. I am a member of the City of PA Community Services Advisory Committee.

My Platform Includes;

Investing in infrastructure, revitalizing downtown, small business and economic development, accessible & affordable programs and services for families, supporting the arts & heritage, being stewards of our environment, building our new aquatic complex & expansion of our regional hospital.

We must work together to address poverty, homelessness, systemic racism, mental health, addictions & crime.

I will listen to residents of Ward 4 & do my best to represent your needs at Prince Albert City Council.

Ward 4 Candidate

I have made a career out of advocating for people and I am ready to advocate for the residents of Ward 4.

If elected, my priority will be addressing inequality while making smart financial choices. I will advocate for community-based solutions to poverty, homelessness and crime and to fight for better health care options and access to mental health supports. I will work hard to encourage the creation of good paying jobs across our city.

I am an exceptional listener, I will fight for what’s right and I am capable of changing my mind.  I plan to ask a lot of questions, do a lot of research, and demand accountability and transparency at City Hall – especially when it comes to taxpayer’s money.  I look forward to meeting as many residents in Ward 4 as possible, and hearing about your concerns firsthand.
